The areas around East and West Matagorda Bay have long been known for being a haven for migratory waterfowl.  Having several wildlife refuges that harbor huge numbers in the area, insures the great hunting opportunities.  Coastal Plains uses the bays and marshes as their hunting land as well as private prairie waterholes and flooded fields.

Comfortably accommodating 21 people Coastal Plains Lodge is the perfect setting for corporate entertaining or bringing the whole family.
