NM-4LOH Hunt the Gila National Forrest New Mexico Elk

Description:

One of our most consistent outfitters with a very high percentage of clients that rebook with them every year.  They hunt several of our favorite units in the New Mexico Gila National Forrest, including 13, 15, 16 and 17.

The terrain here can vary from steep and rugged to mild sage brush flats.  Most of these units are Archery and Muzzleloader only giving you an opportunity at a true trophy bull. You can expect guides that are from the area and know it very well.  Hunters can expect to see numerous bulls in the 300 to 330 range but the outfitters goal is to put you on big, mature bulls ranging from 330 and above.
